PromptKit ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we access and process data when you use PromptKit as a Google Workspace add-on (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

2. Data We Access

We access the minimum needed to perform your explicit request:

• Selected content / user-provided input to generate an AI response.
• Basic account identity (e.g., email) only for conversation continuity, licensing, and quotas if applicable.

3. How We Use Data

We use data strictly to fulfill your prompt, including inserting results back into your document when you request it.

We do not do background scanning of your documents.

4. Sharing with AI Providers

PromptKit can send your prompt and selected content to third-party AI providers (such as Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, xAI Grok) based on your selection. Their privacy terms apply to that processing.

5. Storage & Retention

We avoid storing document content on our servers after your request is fulfilled. Conversation history and preferences can be stored to provide continuity (as described in the add-on UI).

6. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS for data transmission and follow reasonable measures to protect data in transit.
